Osprey packs come with a rock solid guarantee to back up quality products. The FAQ provides more details about the Osprey brand, the key technological components and information on fitting a pack, proper packing techniques and how to repair an Osprey pack.
Osprey All Mighty Guarantee
(Applicable for US and Canada Customers)
Osprey believes enough in the superior quality and craftsmanship of its products to offer a lifetime guarantee. The All Mighty Guarantee was launched in part to celebrate 35 years of making reputable backpacks that elicit customer loyalty.
Company Policy
"Osprey will repair for any reason, free of charge, any damage or defect in our product – whether it was purchased in 1974 or yesterday. If we are unable to perform a quality repair on your pack, we will happily replace it. We proudly stand behind this guarantee, so much so that it bears the signature of company founder and head designer, Mike Pfotenhauer."
First obtain a Return Authorization Number before shipping pack to be repaired. Repairs for Osprey packs usually take two weeks to return to the customer from their Colorado facility. All packs must be clean and without odor, otherwise it will be sent back.
The pack owner is responsible for shipping costs to send the pack to Osprey, the return costs are paid by Osprey. Packs will be repaired regardless of original ownership.

A few things that are not covered in the program:
- Size and Fit - Take advantage of online and in-store information to ensure a proper fitting Osprey pack.
- Personal Preferences - Wrong color or style choices or not enough capacity requests are not included.
- Third Party Repairs - No costs are covered for repairs done by others. All packs must be sent to Osprey.
- Effective Start Date - The All Mighty Guarantee only applies to repairs requested on or after January 1, 2009 .

Osprey Packs Technology
Sometimes your decision depends on the technical details associated with each pack series. Here are some of the key features of Osprey backpacks.
ReCurve Suspension - The deluxe load carrier with aluminum rods for flex and shock absorption, AirScape backpanel, and BioForm components. (Pack Series: Argon, Xenon)
AirScape Suspension - This system includes aluminum rods to stabilize load, a foam backpanel with grip mesh for breathability and comfort and IsoForm and CM hipbelt components. (Pack Series: Aether, Aerial, Kestrel, Sprint)
AirSpeed Suspension - A lightweight alloy frame with a mesh backpanel, side ventilation, and surface contact areas with breathable mesh or waffle foam.(Pack Series: Atmos, Aura, Exos, Ventilated)
AirCore Backpanel - Vertical struts and a stabilization disc combine with top and bottom composite wings and a stretch mesh backpanel provide a form fitting carry with air circulation.(Pack Series: Stratos, Ventilated)
Custom Molding - The BioForm CM and IsoForm CM hipbelts offer a good fit off the shelf and a custom fit with a heat molding oven. They aslo feature the ErgoPull closure to provide top and bottom tension.
Osprey Innovations and Achievements
An overview of the company's impressive list of technological improvements provides insights into their achievements over the years. Osprey introduced breathable mesh, custom fit internal frame packs, slide adjustable chest straps and their first travel pack in the 1970s.
After a long decade of growth, the 1990s brought womens' harness and hipbelts, custom fit designs for women, vector compression and two of their signature features: the Fusion EX Suspension and the ErgoPull hipbelt closure.
In the following decade, a new travel line was introduced and the Custom Moulding technology for individual hipbelt sizing, using special ovens in stores, became available. With such an illustrious history, the accolades highlight the full recognition of Osprey's technical strengths.
