North Face Jester Backpack

A Sensible School Favorite

Well-built and durable, the North Face Jester backpack sets a standard for quality daypacks designed to take on the loads of school and college students, and the harsh conditions of some off-trail users.

Whether carrying textbooks or rock samples, the pack's ergonomic design includes excellent back padding and wide straps to stay comfortable on campus or in the field.

Despite the ample capacity, the pack doesnt feel like you're hauling "a bag full of bricks" as observed by one reviewer. And the Jester seems to be able to adjust and fit teenagers too.

Many users carry a laptop without any problems, although the pack does not have extra padding and tie-down straps usually found in a computer bag.

Two side mesh pockets hold water bottles, phone, munchies or whatever else you need to store. The front panel pocket comes with an organizer for easy access to keys, MP3 players and other small gear.

A removable hipbelt helps out on heavy loads and bad weather didn't cause much wear and tear for one buyer after six years of outdoor use. Vivid colors and attractive styles make the Jester a fashionable choice without sacrificing on quality.
