Gregory backpacks

A Gregory backpack comes with a lifetime guarantee. Original purchasers are assured that products are free from defects in materials and workmanship. Defective gear is either fixed or replaced and returned to your at the company's expense.

The warranty is void if damage is due to improper use and abuse , as determined by them. For natural breakdown of materials that occur from years of use, the manufacturer is not responsible.

Return For Repairs

If your Gregory pack suffers from calamaties not covered under the warranty, then they will provide the necessary service for a reasonable fee plus the shipping charges.

When you want to make a return, first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. Clean you pack and send it postage prepaid with a full description of what needs attention. (Photos are also good to avoid confusion).

Gregory staff will then contact you with an estimate for the repair and only continue the work with your approval and payment of quote.

Gregory Packs Technology

Sometimes your decision depends on the technical details associated with certain product product series. Here are some of the key technological features that refer to Gregory backpacks.

Response CFS - A suspension system with the Quick-Adjust, 5-point angle waistbelt and precurved harness for maximum comfort with twin aluminium stays supported by a cross stay.

Response AFS - An independent rotating waistbelt suspension system that pivots with body movement and distributes weight evenly.

Jetstream LTS - A suspension system with a lightweight framesheet that allows airflow across your back, with a ventilated harness and waistbelt that wicks moisture.

Jetstream DTS - An extra-light version of the LTS that provides load transfer with low weight with a unique harness that stiffens the frame as the load increases.

BioSync ATS - The suspension follows your body motion by set of artificial tendons that stretch the harness into a proper fit position and the waistbelt gives a superior range of motion too.

Gregory Backpack FAQ: How To Tips

A Gregory backpack is designed to last for many years. Here are some tips to help you keep your gear clean and in top working condition.

Caring For Your Pack

  • Mild Soap - Never use detergents or solvents to clean. Use a damp sponge to wipe both the inside and outside of the bag and completely air dry with zips open.
  • Stains - Tough stains require a soft bristle scrubbing without damaging the coatings that protect the material. Keep it light and easy.
  • Drying - Never put a pack in a dryer, the heat damages the protective coatings. Same goes for direct sunlight and other heat sources.
  • Storage - Keep your pack in a cool, dry area that airs out well.

  • Gregory Manufacturer Tips

    • Wash your pack by hand with warm or cold water and lightly brush away dirt, no hard scrubbing, after each activity before storing it away again, especially for the next season.
    • Wet and damp packs cause mildew and corrode zipper sliders, so after a rainy trip or a good wash, air dry it out and then store properly.
    • Release the tension on key straps, such as load-lifters, shoulder harness and waistbelt stabilizers, before storing to avoid creasing.
    • All cinch cords and compression straps need to be loose to avoid reducing elasticity and fabric creasing.
    • Use a storage area not exposed to extreme temperatures that break down fabrics quicker.
