Deuter Kid Comfort II Baby Backpack Carrier
For Hiking Trails and Comfort

Among the three versions, the Deuter Kid Comfort II is one of Deuter's most successful selling products.

Compared to the Kid Comfort I, this pack has some added features that transform it from an urban lifestyle carrier to handle the rigors of more outdoor environments. The Comfort II provides more innovative accessories and specialties catering to more dynamic environments without compromising its basic functionality.

In 2007, major improvements were made on the Deuter Kid Comfort. These included more colors, a strengthened frame construction, a belt adjustment method, and the elimination of points prone to injure fingers, an easier kickstand deployment, a more breathable child seat cushion, a hip belt storage pocket, and outside zippered pockets.

To accommodate the rough terrain of tougher environments, the Comfort II adds more components that are necessary for an outdoor, not urban, backpack. The child cockpit allows more ventilation and the shoulder straps and belts are padded. The kickstand is easier to deploy and added straps for easier load lifting are included too.

This version is more ideal for hiking trips and was even recommended by the ChildCarriers.com staff. Although the Deuter Kid Comfort II is pricier than the Kid Comfort I pack, the added features allow for more functional activities and flexible options for using the pack in the city or the national park.

However, if you want to pamper your child even in the great outdoors, then check out the Kid Comfort III for all the bells and whistles.
